PHUTURE PHANTOM FOOTBALL AND CHEER was created to provide Phoenxiville the opportunity to compete with the best youth football programs in the area.  We are members of the Inter County Football League (ICFL) which includes 9 of the 11 teams that currently make up the Pioneer Athletic Conference.   As a true feeder program for Phoenixville High School and Middle School, the Phuture Phantoms tackle teams wear the same helmets as the big boys and play home games on Washington Field.  Our cheer teams are proud learn the same routines as the high school cheerleaders as well. We are privileged to have our boys and girls present on the field with the high school at most home PHS games. In addition, we team up with current PHS/PAMS coaches as well as Phoenixville Football Alum in an effort to run similar plays with the same language and schemes. This technique better prepares the kids entering the program in middle school.Our tackle program is a grade based program with teams for each grade 2 - 6.  Since we are grade based there are no weigh-ins.  This is a travel program so classmates will not be competing against each other, instead they will be supporting each other and begin to build the foundations that create lifelong friends and team mates. Since we are a feeder program, it's essential that we teach the fundamentals of football the way the high school kids are taught.  Our coaches attend clinics with the HS Coaching staff, are NFL Heads Up certified, and teach the game in a positive manner.  Although we want to win games, the true measure of  our program is having the teaching the kids how to play the game the correct way, how to be competitive while displaying good sportsmanship, and above all else, making sure they have FUN playing football.  Our Cheer program follows the same age requirement guidelines as youth football.  Kindergarten through first grade cheers for our flag teams, and grades second through sixth cheer for their appropriate teams.  The cheer program has qualified coaches with additional assistance from some high school cheerleaders as well.  The cheer team takes part in a competitive Cheer Off at the end of the year which involves all of the cheer squads in the ICFL.
